New Delhi: According to police, a three-year-old boy who went missing from near his home in east Delhis Preet Vihar district was reportedly kidnapped and later killed by his mother, claiming that his family and locals took to the streets to demand that the suspect, who has been charged, be brought to Delhi and presently is at his Jagatpuri home, according to Amrutha Guguloth, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East).According to sustained interrogation, the accused confessed to leaving the child in a sugarcane field in Meerut.A team was sent to Meerut later that day when they learned that local police had already discovered a body without head and limb, according to her.The body of the missing child from Preet Vihar was found to be that of his uncle, according to the belongings and clothing.

According to the victims' FIR, the accused's age was 16 years old.Police said the papers retrieved from his house confirmed that he was over 18 years old, and that court action is underway.The boy and his mother went missing from the slum district of Chitra Vihar on November 30, according to police.Police said the FIR has also included a section of murder.

Police said his family members and locals gathered outside the police station in Preet Vihar and staged a demonstration demanding revenge for the injured boy.Because of the demonstration, traffic on Vikas Marg, near the Preet Vihar police station was disrupted.To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, traffic police said they had to make the necessary diverges.
