Ahmedabad: At the recently concluded Gujarat state closed championship in Rajkot, Kiaan Kanade, Anya Nagpal, Rohan Mansingani, and Dhritih Kandpal maintained their titling to hold the state championships with ease.Dhritih hardly broke a sweat in the womens final, defeating top seed Naekata Chawla 11-7, 11-3, 11-4 for the title.Vedant Patel, a top seed, thrashed Mishal Mehta 11-1, 11-4, 11-6 to win the mens championship.Top seed Dhwani Balchandani defeated Devi Dhulesia 11-0, 11-4, 11-6 to win the women's final.The U-19 boys final was the best contest.

Arya Patel, the second seed, lost the first two games but came back to win the next two games and force a draw.However, Aayush regrouped to make the final decision.Aayush claimed the U-17 boys title by beating Shreeya Kotecha 11-6, 11-1, 11-4, while top seed Ved Patel defeated Merill Vegda 11-2, 11-7, 12-10.Anya Nagpal and Rohan Mansingani were the U-15 girls and boys champions, respectively.

Vipra Patel became the U-13 girls champion after defeating Harshvardhinee Doshi 11-3, 11-7, 11-2 in the summit match.For the U-13 boys crown, top seed Hetansh Kalaria defeated second seed Harmandeep Thakur 11-7, 11-9, 11-8.Kiaan Kanade, the top seed, captured the boys U-11 crown with a spectacular display, outscoring Maan Khunt 11-2, 11-2, 11-3 in the final.
