New Delhi (India), June 30: According to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena has stalled the appointment of public prosecutors and standing counsel in an attempt to reverse the Arvind Kejriwal dispensations decision. However, the LG raised reservations about the selection process and requested us to provide the bio-data of all the candidates, she said.He wanted to scrutinize them again and see who can become public prosecutors, standing counsels, and additional standing counsels, she said. The then LG proposed that 44 Standing Counsels and Additional Public Prosecutors be empanelled and submitted to the Honble Delhi High Court for approval.

Governor advising the Honble Delhi High Court on how to work their cases; it was later submitted to LG for consideration on June 10, 2022, without including the bio-data of the proposed candidates; this is a clear prerequisite for due diligence. On the part of the GNCTD, a reply is still pending. It is therefore natural, when facts are so clear and specific as this, that those making claims on the contrary would refrain from making such mischievously misleading and factually incorrect claims in the future.
