New Delhi, India, June 24: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia visited the road stretch from Vidhan Sabha to Chandagi Ram Akhara on Thursday, directing the concerned Public Works Department (PWD) officials to not just focus on strengthening the roads, but also on making them more visually appealing and beautiful, according to Manish Sisodia, who spoke to media persons here.For this reason, all road repairs should be performed as a priority and with complete dedication.PWD officials should pay attention to every facet of the road interiors, he said, and that they should ensure that roads are well maintained, smooth, have green belts on either side, and that they are beautiful.During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister, who controls the PWD portfolio, noticed cracks at various locations and directed the engineers to get them fixed on schedule before it causes any inconvenience to the commuters.

Officials must comply with the government's cleanliness, landscaping, and other safety requirements concerning the road, according to him.He also advised the authorities that new signs should be installed on the highway visited today, as well as correct road marking, and that he should encourage improved species of plants on the central verge and keep greenery on either side of the road.
