Guwahati: Eknath Shinde, a Shiv Sena activist, wrote to the Deputy Speaker of Maharashtra Assembly on Wednesday, requesting that he be reaffirmed as the leader of the Shiv Sena Legislature Party, and a copy of the letter has been sent to Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, and Secretary to the Legislative Council Rajendra Bhagwat.Independent MLAs Kishor Jorgewar and Geeta Jain have arrived at the Guwahati Hotel Radisson Blu on Tuesday, demanding the disengagement of 12 rebel MLAs, including Eknath Shinde, who did not attend the meeting.Mr Sawant said that a petition had been sent to the Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, which said that if an MLA does not attend the meeting, legal action will be taken.Members of the Shiv Sena Legislature Party, including Agriculture Minister Dada Bhuse, Tanaji Sawant, Mahesh Shinde, Abdul Sattar, Sandeep Bhumare, Sanjay Shirsat, Yadhav, Anil Babar, Balaji Devdas, and Lata Chaudhari were among the three legislators who arrived in Guwahati on Thursday, according to the Shinde party's Chief Whip Sunil Prabhu.
