New Delhi: The Department of Education (DoE) Delhi has suspended the recognition of Delhi Public School, Sector-24, Rohini for failing to comply with fee hike legislation.However, the school will be able to complete the session 2022-23 with honors, and the suspension of honors will not affect the students studying in the forthcoming session 2022-23.For the 2023-24 session, the DPS Sector 24 Rohini, Delhi, has been told not to apply.According to a DoE statement issued on Tuesday, the school authorities seem to be indulgent in profiteering, commercialization, capitation, and abuse of parents, and they have violated Rule 50 (xvii) and 50 (xix) of the Delhi School Education Act, 1973 by not providing the inspection team with the necessary papers and records.

All students will be required to pay the extra charges immediately and they will be refunded to them.In its other recognized schools that are outside the scope of the NCT of Delhi, the DPS Society will adjust all the teachers, non-teaching, and other staff of the school.
