Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), December 11 : A pregnant tribal woman from Kadukumanna village, Kerala's Palakkad district, was carried by her relatives to the hospital in a makeshift stretcher, according to reports.According to the reports, Sumanthi Murukan, a tribal woman, was consulting doctors at Kottathara Tribal Speciality Hospital and her delivery was scheduled for next week.However, Sumathi went to work on Saturday-Sunday night.Her relatives called for an ambulance, but it couldn't reach the village because the road was blocked.Sumathis s relatives carried her three and a half kilometers up the forest to the main road.
