DHAKA (DHAKA): Bangladesh has knocked out two more cricketers in its ongoing West Indies tour, with all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin and batsman Yasir Ali both missing.According to the Bangladesh Cricket Board, Saifuddin was withdrawn after failing to recover his fitness for the series.In a statement, BCB chief physician Debashis Chowdhury said that he has not reached the bowling fitness level required to cope with the demands of international cricket at the moment.The 25-year-old last played an international match in October 2021.

Yasir Ali has not been able to recover as planned and is unable to begin his rehabilitation, according to Bangladesh team physio Bayjedul Islam.Since nearly two weeks of rest, he is still limited in his physical fitness.Yasir is returning to Bangladesh and will continue his recovery under the direction of the BCBs.During the tour, Bangladesh will perform three Twenty20 internationals and three one-day internationals.

The second Test, which takes place in Saint Lucia, begins on Friday, with batsman Anamul Haque and pace bowler Shoriful Islam joining the squad as injury backups.
