Ahmedabad (Gujarat) India: An initiative of Shree Sai Women and Children Welfare Trust, Gujarat Police Ke Naam, was postponed due to the Gujarat legislative assembly elections on November 18.The initiative, which was sponsored by the Gujarat Police Trust, was the first of its kind in Gujarat.The initiative has now been postponed because of the upcoming Gujarat elections, the Election Commission's rules and regulations, and our responsibility as responsible citizens.Brijmohan Sood, the managing trustee of Shree Sai Women and Children Welfare Trust, said a new date of the program will be announced very soon.At the spectacular event, Sood extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who was directly or indirectly involved with the program and extended their involvement.
The event was held by Shree Sai Women and Children Welfare Trust in association with Sarjan The Spark, Karnavati Club, and the Gujarat Youth and Cultural Activities Department, as well as the Home Ministry of Gujarat.The scheme included all thirty-three districts and four police commissionerates in Gujarat, and police officers from each of the districts and commissionerates were to be awarded medals and certificates to acknowledge their excellence.
