Doha, Qatar, November 21: England kicked off their World Cup 2022 campaign with a bang, defeating Iran 6-2 at the Khalifa International Stadium, where everyone contributed one goal.Iran suffered a big blow when goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand collided with teammate Majid Hosseini.Beiranvand was stretchered out in the 19th minute.England put on a splendid show that combined skill and speed.In the World Cup 2022, England was off to the wire, with Jude Bellingham scoring in the 35th minute.Bukayo Saka doubled the lead for Gareth Southgates side eight minutes later, giving them a 2-0 lead.

England started the half-time break with a 3-0 lead.Saka scored his second goal of the season in the 62nd minute to make it 4-0.Mehdi Taremi scored the team's first goal of the tournament in three minutes, giving the English side a scoreline of 4-1.England regained a four-goal lead when Marcus Rashford scored the fifth goal for his team to put them 5-1 up.
