Vijay Kumar is now ready to board a late-night flight to Istanbul after a day of meetings and catching up on his forthcoming film, Bheema.He'll be shooting action scenes for his first Telugu film, NBK 107, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna aka Balayya appears.Ive now gotten into the swing of the film, with this being the fourth installment.Everyone knows and loves me as a hero, but I also love playing the villain.

Pratap Reddy, my character, is brutal and barbaric, and playing him gave me the thrills, shares Vijay, adding that every human has a negative part in him.And Im glad that I got to express this side of myself on film.I can also live with a clean slate in real life, he says, a tad philosophically speaking.Vijay talks about how the talk around him and the film has resulted in many offers from the Telugu community.

Along with my Kannada duties, I'm sure I'll continue doing Telugu films.I'm confident I can do both.Vijay says that though love for Kannada artists has long existed, things have changed.We have made our mark, and as a society, we are well ahead of the competition and have attracted the attention of everybody.
