Ex-Congress officials' homes were searched after a rape complaint

Indore (India) — A Khajrana squad searched Anwar Dastak's home in Badwali Chowki district just hours after he was jailed for raping a woman on the promise of marriage.The accused was absconding and could not be found in court.However, Khajrana police station in-charge Dinesh Verma said that teams are searching for him.The accused fled from the city two days before being charged with trespassing.

As we went into the bedroom, there was a bathroom inside, and it had a small gate that led to another bedroom that did not have any other access, he said.Two suspicious people were seen wandering around outside the police station on Wednesday night while the woman was registering her complaint at the police station.The accused were identified as Sahil Khan, a resident of Azad Nagar, and Shadab Khan, a resident of Mirza Nagar.According to Verma, both were arrested after a knife was confiscated from them and booked under the Arms Act.

The complainant told police that she married in 2005 and that she and her husband lived in the Green Park neighborhood.She divorced her husband in 2019 and became a beautician, after which she became involved with him in 2020, when he wanted to open a new salon and kept her as the main beautician.Saleem, Anwars' brother, approached her home and threatened her of dreadful consequences if she asked her to marry her, she claimed.Tabrez, an Anwars mate, called her home on September 6 and took her cellphone and children with them.

The children were not lost until she gave her a password to her cell phone at 3:00 a.m.
