Ex-MLA Asif Mohammad Khan is granted bail by a Delhi court in a police abuse case.

New Delhi (India), December 8: Ex-MLA Asif Mohammad Khan was jailed on Thursday for manhandling and assaulting a police officer on duty in the Shaheen Bagh area.He was arrested on November 25 for allegedly assaulting Mohd during an unauthorised meeting, according to Additional Sessions Judge Anuj Agrawal.Asif Khan has agreed to issue a Rs.5,000 bail bond.

He is expected to report to the SHO concerned every month.He shall not be included in the events mentioned above as in the present case.Asif Mohammad Khan is being prosecuted by senior advocates Ramesh Gupta and Alim Mijaz.He is an ex MLA.
