Ex-servicemen rally organised by Indian Army in Ambala

The Indian Armys Kharga Corps held a rally for ex-servicemen and their families in Ambala Cantonment . The rally was held to reach out to all veterans and families of old comrades .

On Saturday, the Indian Armys Kharga Corps held a rally for ex-servicemen and their families in Ambala Cantonment to express its love for veterans, veer naris, widows, and their families.The rally, according to a Kharge Corp official, was a success and attracted over 1,025 ex-servicemen and their dependents from the Yamunanagar and Ambala districts.On the occasion, Kharga Corp GOC Lt. Gen. Pratik Sharma and many other dignitaries met with the ex-servicemen and their families.This rally, which bore the name Sampark-Swasthya Sahuliyat (Contact-Health Facility), was held to reach out to all veterans and families of old comrades in order to solve their problems with regard to various issues that arise in connection with the health care and employment arrangements.

These included: An ex-servicemen contributory health program, a unit-run canteen, resettlement, sainik boards, sainik boards, helpline, record offices, army placement program, etc.Lt. Gen. Pratik Sharma shared his love for the Indian Army's retired fraternity and assured the gathering that the government and the Army are attentive to their needs and will take every precaution to ensure that the retired servicemen, veer naris, and their families are treated properly.He also reiterated the Army's commitment to providing high quality care, dignity, and assistance in the event of an emergency.The day's highlight was the grouping of Defence and Civil Agencies under one roof.
