Al Rayyan (Qatar), December 9: In the first quarterfinal of the FIFA World Cup, Brazil played out a goalless first half against 2018 runners-up Croatia at the Education City stadium on Friday.Because of Croatia's solid defense, neither team was able to create many chances throughout the game.After failing to create much space in the midfield, the five-time champions will begin the second half with even more assertiveness and fire.Since defending superbly, Croatia will certainly be in a better mood in the locker room.

In the fourth minute, Vinicius came close to the Croatian goalpost, taking a long-range kick to make the first save of the game.Both camps were tense because players were making some mistakes.Luka Modric and Casemiro both were found guilty of making poor passes when they lost possession.Croatia won the first corner of the match in the 14th minute, but the European team was unable to make much from it.
