The sixth edition of the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival has been announced . The festival will be dedicated to the revival of old musical instruments like the Sarangi .
New Delhi (India), December 8 (PNN): The sixth edition of the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival, India's biggest world music extravaganza, has been announced.It will take place from the 16th of December to the 18th of December, 2022.Rajasthan Tourism is bringing the festival, which is conceived and produced by Seher, to you, and it will feature performances by over 120 internationally known musicians.This year's musical festival will be dedicated to the revival of old musical instruments like the Sarangi by providing the local musicians with a global platform to showcase their talent on the first day of the festival.
The day will also mark the achievements of Sarangi players and the results of the Vedanta Talent Hunt.Srijani Ghose from Australia, Anoushka Maskey, actor-singer Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Aabha Hanjura, and Naveen Koomar ft. will perform on the final day of the music festival.Harjot Kaur and Vedang, India's most renowned Solo Percussive Acoustic Guitarist Dhruv Visvanath, the French Electric Percussions Orchestra, Albaluna, Portugal, and Farhan Akhtar spokeswoman for the event.We are incredibly grateful for the audience support over the years, said Sanjeev Bhargava, Founder Director of Seher.
