First speech by Amit Shah at a rally in Bihar since Nitish Kumar severed ties

Patna: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today launched the BJPs solo election bid for Bihar ahead of the 2024 General Elections in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a massive rally in Purnia.The Janata Mahasabha, located at Rangbhoomi Ground, is the first BJP-led rally in the state, after Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar walked out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) conference last month.Mr Shah is currently on a two-day tour to Bihar.Mr Shah said to the audience: (Applaud, please, we have built this airport for you all.)Mr Kumar had betrayed the BJP by breaking the pact in Bihar, he said.
