For the 2022 Battle of Asia Road Racing Championship, Honda Racing India is prepared.

Honda Racing India is one of the Top 9 teams out of a total of 14 teams in the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class . The team has jumped from 6 points in its inaugural season to 35 points in the 2019 season .

Buriram (Thailand), November 17: As Asia's toughest road racing tournament comes to a close this weekend, Honda Racing Indias duo of Rajiv Sethu and Senthil Kumar have reached Chang International Circuit in Thailand for the final battle of the 2022 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).The Honda Racing India Team is one of the Top 9 teams out of a total of 14 teams in the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class.The team has made steady strides since forming a solo Indian team in 2018 and has jumped from 6 points in its inaugural season to 35 points in the 2019 season.The team has also reached the 2022 final with a total of 42 points, according to Prabhu Nagaraj, Operating Officer-Brand and Communication, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.

We started this tournament at the Chang International Circuit, where our boys placed great points for the nation.Coming back to the track after four rounds of intense testing, I am confident that our riders will apply the experience from previous rounds to produce even better results for the nation as well as the squad.Honda Racing India is excited to face the Thai challenge and make the most of it this weekend.Rajiv Sethu of Honda Racing India has 31 points under his belt as a result of his debut in the AP 250 class.

Here, he earned his first international mark in 2018.In the 3rd round of the ARRC in 2019, Rajiv claimed the Top 7 qualifying finish, the first time an Indian rider had achieved this feat.His steady form in round 1 of the 2022 season earlier this season culminated in an 11th-place finish.Rajiv is already in the top 15 out of 24 riders in the AP250 class and is determined to step up his game this weekend.

In round 3 of the 2019 ARRC, Chang made his international debut with the Thailand Talent Cup and finished in the top 20.He went all out and outpaced other international riders in the championship in round 1 of the season to finish in 13th position, his best finish.Senthil has 11 points and is now among the top 19 riders, a significant improvement from his overall 30th position in the championship, said Rajiv Sethu.We have reached the last leg of the season and I am so excited to give it my best in the final round at the Chang International Circuit.

I will personally aim to score as many points as possible by claiming the top spot on the leaderboard, according to Senthil Kumar.I am pleased to have gained a few points so far and am in a better shape than last year.I finished in the Top 13 in my last outing at Chang earlier this year.I am looking forward to racing at Chang again for the final round and am hoping to get a better result for my country and my team.

Kavin Quintal of Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Mohsin P of Malappuram (Kerala) will represent the next breed of Indian young racers to compete with Honda.
