Kochi (Kochi)-A medical team and bicyclers have organized a three-day ride across the state ahead of World Heart Day, which takes place on September 29.This is the first time a Heart-A-Thon has been held in the state, and it is part of a larger heart health awareness initiative in honor of the World Heart Day, which was established by the World Heart Federation.Heart disease is the leading cause of death globally, but it is not inevitable.Although some risk factors, such as family history or age, cannot be changed, there are some strategies to reduce the chance of heart disease.

The team, which includes ten doctors, has been divided into two groups.On September 23, one team will start from Kasaragod and the other from Thiruvananthapuram, at 5 a.m.The two teams will travel across the state of Kerala, reaching out to patients and the general public in 17 hospitals, according to cardiologist Dr. Jo Joseph, who is coordinating the initiative.The hospitals will be named after Believers Church Medical College, Thiruvalla, Pariyaram Medical College, Metromed International Cardiac Center, Kozhikode, MB Hospital, Malappuram, EMS Hospital, Mannarkad, Lakshmi Hospital, Palakk Once they reach Angamaly, they will be joined by 100 cyclists from the Muziris Cycling Club and other physicians, and will arrive at IMA Kochi on September 25.
