Forging railroad tickets: 2 men are being held

Delhi police arrest two men for duping people into believing they were railway ticket checkers . The men allegedly promised to get tickets confirmed and then stole passengers belongings .

New Delhi: Two men were arrested by Delhi police for allegedly duping people into believing they were railway ticket checkers and promising to get tickets confirmed.Since stealing passengers' belongings for safekeeping, the accused fled with them.According to investigators, the suspects have been named Ravi Kumar Mehto (38), a resident of Loni, and Kamlesh Kumar (22), a Shakurpur resident.Mehto was also convicted of two bribery charges.

The accused drove them to Sonia Vihar to confirm their tickets and introduced a TTE aide.Mehto was arrested on Sunday and Kumar on Tuesday.Kumar received the stolen ATM cards, smartphones, and gold rings.
