On Sunday night, four miscreants robbed a 24-year-old man of a motorcycle, a cellphone, and cash on Lodhi Club Road.Two of the defendants requested assistance in dragging their broken bicycle.Chetan Rathi, a medical student from Barewal Road, had gone to Ferozepur Road about 9.30pm to have dinner, as the victim obliged, and two others assaulted him.Chetan was on the way to a restaurant, according to sub-inspector Harpreet Singh, SHO of Sarabha Nagar.

Chetan's motorcycle had broken down when he came to the stop, telling them he had stolen it and towed it with his bike to Lodhi Club Road, where there were mechanics.Chetan agreed.Two more men were already on the Lodhi Club Road.Chetan was stopped by the police and were arrested by all four, who robbed him of his cellphone, Rs 800, and his bike.

No CCTV cameras are installed near the location, he said.He said, We are looking at the footage of CCTVs installed near Phullanwal Chowk, where the accused could have escaped.The four unidentified suspects have been charged with assault, wrongful restraint, or fear of harm as a result of the IPC's section 379-B (2).
