After a massive boulder tumbled down into the pit Saturday night, four workers were trapped inside a 300-feet deep quarry near Ponnakudi in Tamil Nadus Tirunelveli district.Although the police managed to save the remaining four workers, two teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were dispatched from Arakkonam to Palayamkottai, according to the news agency.According to the news agency, the NDRF control room in Arakkonam is closely monitoring the situation round the clock and all efforts are being undertaken in close collaboration with the Tamil Nadu government.
