Ahmedabad (Gujarat), December 2: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced today that Goldy Brar, the suspected mastermind behind the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been arrested in California, United States.At a press conference here, Mann said, I tell you that a big gangster sitting in Canada, Goldy Brar, has been arrested in America.The Punjab CM is running in Gujarat for his Aam Aadmi Party in the state's assembly polls.Brar is a close aide to gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently housed in Tihar Prison and is suspected of involvement in the Moosewalas murder.Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, a Punjabi musician who is best known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot and killed by unidentified attackers in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, on May 29.In a Facebook post in May, goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster, allegedly took responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh.
