Harare, Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe), December 10 : Gary Ballance, an England batsman, has agreed to a two-year contract to represent his country of birth, Zimbabwe, in international and domestic cricket, according to Zimbabwe Cricket.In a release, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced Gary Ballance has agreed to a two-year deal to compete in domestic and international cricket in Zimbabwe and for the nation in which he was born, according to the country's sports governing body.This comes after Ballance, a Harare-born left-handed batter, was released from his county cricket club Yorkshire contract.Between 2014 and 2017, he played for England in the ICC Under-19 Mens Cricket World Cup in Marondera, scoring four centuries at an average of 37.45, as well as 16 one-day internationals.The player himself said, I am humbled to have Gary, a new-found passion and excitement for the sport.
