Gandhinagar (Gujarat) — December 8: As the Aam Aadmi Party struggles to establish its profile in the Gujarat Assembly polls, state party chief Gopal Italia led by a margin of over 50,000 votes over BJP rival Vinodbhai Moradiya on the Katargam seat, according to the most recent poll released by the Election Commission until 1.45 pm.The BJP has won 5 seats so far and is leading on 153 seats, according to the EC.Congress opened its campaign with one victory, winning 15 seats.The AAP has not been able to open its account with zero victories so far as the group continues to dominate single-digit seats in the Gujarat Assembly elections, according to Gujarat Chief Electoral Officer P Bharathi.The counting took place at 37 centers in 33 districts on Thursday.
