New Delhi (New Delhi): The Delhi government has decided to establish at least one charging station for every 15 vehicles in Delhi over the next three years to ensure that there are enough charging stations in the city.According to senior Delhi government officials, the number of chargers is expected to reach 4,000 by the end of the year, while the total number of EVs, which are two-wheelers, three-wheelers, buses, and buses, is expected to reach 1.8 lakh.DDC Vice Chairman Jasmine Shah said that we are now planning to launch our action plan for the next three years, where we aim to have a charger for every 15 EVs registered in Delhi, and that it will release the action plan for the next three years, and that it will also recognize the participants for their contribution to the growth of the EV industry in the national capital with the help of Switch Delhi EV Awards.Shah said that the One Delhi mobile app would not only have the location and contact information of chargers supplied by the government agencies and in a public-private partnership, but also show free chargers available in the city.

The scholarships, he explained, will be given to corporations, not individuals.According to her, they will be determined by the company's performance within the geographical area of the NCT of Delhi.She said that those who contributed significantly will also be given slots in the forum to talk about their contributions to the EV industry.
