JALANDHAR, Jan. 16, 2016: Despite the prohibition of single use plastic bags in the province in April 2016, the Punjab Pollution Control Board has not yet suspended manufacturing of single use plastic bags in the state.The group has written to the CM once more, requesting that everything be clarified when there are less than ten days until the CM's office responds to their earlier email on the issue.In the letter AGAPP representative Dr Navneet Grewal alleged, the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) said that a poster on the banned items should be more explicit on the subject.The PPCB has yet to prohibit the manufacture of single use plastic bags in Punjab.
