Gujarat elections: 19.13 percent voter turnout as of 11 a.m.

Polling is underway in 89 constituencies spread across 19 districts in Kutch, Saurashtra, and South Gujarat . Tapi had the highest voter turnout of 24.77%, Bhavnagar had 18.84%, Botad had 18.44%, Dangs had 24.99%, Jamnagar had 17.85%, Junagadh had 17.85%, Junagadh had 17.62% and Morbi had 22.27% .

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) India – December 1: Gujarat announced its first phase of polling on Thursday, with a 19.13 percent voter turnout as early as 11 a.m.The polling was brisk to moderate in various districts in the state, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI), Tapi had the highest voter turnout of 24.77%, Bhavnagar had 18.84%, Botad had 18.44%, Dangs had 24.99%, Jamnagar had 17.85 percent, Junagadh had 17.62 percent, and Morbi had 22.27 percent.Meanwhile, the voter turnout in Narmada was 23.73 percent, Navsari was 21.79 percent, Porbandar was 16.49 percent, Rajkot was 18.98 percent, Surat was 17.92 percent, and Valsad was 19.57 percent.The polling is currently underway in 89 constituencies spread across 19 districts in Kutch, Saurashtra, and South Gujarat.

Over 4 lakh PWD voters are eligible to vote.Nearly 9.8 lakh senior citizens (80+) and almost 10,000 citizens who are 100 and over are eligible to vote, according to the EC.According to the EC, there are 5,74,560 people who are between 18 and 19 years old, while 4,945 people are over 99 years old.There are 14,382 voting centers in the state, of which 3,311 are in the urban areas and 11,071 are in the rural areas, including Gujarat Chief Minster Bhupendra Patel, AAP Chief Ministerial candidate Isudan Gadhvi from Khambhaliya, Rivaba Jadeja from Jamnagar North, and now BJP candidate Alpesh Thakor from Gandhinagar South.
