Ahmedabad (Gujarat), December 5: After voting in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his support for the people, particularly first-time voters, by holding their vote at the AMC Sub-Zonal Office in Naranpura, Ahmedabad.In the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly election, major parties including Bharat Vakhala from Devgadhbaria, Bheema Chaudhary from Deodar, Dolat Patel from Gandhinagar South, and Vijay Patel from Ghatlodia will test their electoral fortunes.In the first phase of the polling, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took over, with an overall turnout of 63.14 percent.The voting began at 8 a.m. on December 1 in 89 constituencies spread over 19 districts in Kutch, Saurashtra, and South Gujarat regions.With an overall turnout of 63.31 per cent, the Gujarat Assembly elections will be held on December 8.
