Gujarat reports 59.11 percent voter turnout in the second round of voting through 5 p.m.

Sabarkantha district saw the highest voter turnout at 65.84 percent . Ahmedabad recorded the lowest voter turnout at 53.84 percent .

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), India, December 5: Till now, the approximate voter turnout in Gujarat elections was 59.11 percent.According to the results of the National Election Commission, Sabarkantha district saw the highest voter turnout at 65.84 percent, while Ahmedabad recorded the lowest voter turnout at 53.84 percent.Gandhinagar saw a 59.14 percent voter turnout, while Arvalli saw a 60.18 percent, Banaskantha 60.6 percent, Dahod 57.08%, and Kheda 61.6 percent.On Monday, election preparations for the second and final phase of the Gujarat Assembly Elections for 93 Assembly constituencies in 14 districts in north and central Gujarat began at 8 a.m., with only Mahisagar 54.26 percent, Panchmahal 67.103 percent, Patan 57.28, and Vadodara 60.38 percent.Over 2.51 crore people were allowed to exercise their vote.

To support the second phase of polling, Gujarat received a total turnout of 63.14 percent, according to 29,000 presiding officers and over 84,000 polling officers.In the first phase, 89 constituencies were registered.Votes will be counted on December 8.
