Bhubaneswar (Odisha), November 25, 2018: Odisha FC head coach Josep Gombau praised his team's spirit after defeating Chennaiyin FC in a five-goal thriller on Thursday at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.The visitors came back to defend themselves however, when Abdenasser El Khayati scored a brace in the game.Nonetheless, the Gombaus squad scored the decisive goal in injury time, with Nandhakumar Sekar scoring in the 96th minute.According to a statement issued by ISL Media, the team is now tied on points with Mumbai City FC, who is in second position.

We dominated the first half, and it was a good start.We scored and had a few more chances going into halftime, winning 2-0.The second half was more equal.We conceded a penalty, but Chennaiyin FC pressed us a lot and they performed well.

The coach was gratified by the squad's performance and applauded the players for their hard work.We fought to score the third goal and then scored after a minute at 2-2.We discussed the boys' mindset and character, and we took it game by game (from here).The Hero ISL standings are still very close, and Chennayin FC would have risen ahead of us if we had lost.
