HYDERABAD (UTILA) – More than 100 club secretaries of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) unanimously agreed on Monday to hold the Annual General Body meeting (AGM) at 10.30 am on November 6.The members of the Committee met at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Singapore because they wanted to speak with the Supreme Court's appointed Supervisory Committee. The members were told just after 11.30 a.m. that chairman Justice (retd) NA Kakru would not be coming and would be arriving to the city only after October 6.The members wanted to inform the committee that as the present body's term had ended on September 26, they needed to call an AGM and also hold elections immediately. How can the president remain in office after the term is over How is authorizing him to continue?According to a club secretary, elections must be held before the term is over and no court will deny the organization of elections. We are only asking that the commission call the polls and have a duly elected body in place. In the meantime, other problems may be addressed, he said. Azharuddin, in turn, sent a letter to the clubs urging them to complete the form by October 2.Why does the HCA demand all of these details from the clubs?Does the HCA have all of this information? If they don't have it, why is it that they're refusing to vote during the elections? The HCA wants to know if the club's secretary is correct.
