Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) (India), May 15: Due to strong westerly winds in the Arabian Sea, the Indian Metrological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in Kerala for the next five days.On May 15, IMD issued an orange warning in six Kerala districts.In the aftermath of the rain, the state has taken necessary steps in all districts.Yesterday evening, the Chief Secretary called a meeting of all departments concerned and advised district collectors to continue the negotiations.

If required, it is recommended that people live in areas that are prone to landslides and flooding and to ensure that basic necessities such as water and electricity are provided.The Central Meteorological Department has also requested that people stay wherever they are and avoid traveling.
