Hero will raise the cost of motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 3,000 starting in the next month: Maestro Edge, Splendor, and Xpulse 200

Hero MotoCorp is the first two-wheeler manufacturer to announce a price hike on its products in India . Prices of all of its scooter and motorcycle offerings will increase by up to Rs 3,000 from July 1 to September 30 .

Hero MotoCorp is the first two-wheeler manufacturer to announce a price hike on its products in India.To partially offset the growing overall cost increase, including commodity prices, the company has announced that prices of all of its scooter and motorcycle offerings will increase by up to Rs 3,000 from July 1 to September 30.The corporation said in a regulatory filing that the exact amount of increase would depend on the specific model and market.The price change was necessary to partially offset the steadily increasing global cost inflation, particularly in terms of commodity prices.

In the month of May 2022, the corporation managed to sell over 4.66 lakh two wheelers in the region, occupying a market share of over 37 percent.Hero also entered an agreement with Harley Davidson in 2020 to sell and service American bran motorcycles in India.
