On November 24, Bhubaneswar (Odisha) India President Dilip Tirkey of India gives the first ticket to the FIH Odisha Hockey Mens World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.On January 13, the country will celebrate 75 glorious years of democratic India, its diverse culture and rich heritage, and we also reflect on the historic hockey feats that made it possible for it to win the 1948 Olympic Games in London, clinching Independent Indias first Olympic Gold Medal and fourth in the Summer Olympics history.India claimed the Gold medal in the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games, and in 1956, India dominated the Summer Games by standing on the podium in Melbourne.The team came back to the top of the podium in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics after defeating Pakistan's opponents in the Final, claiming the country's seventh Olympic Gold and third as an independent country.
