Hry Secretary of State pushes for telecom infrastructure

Chandigarh: On Monday, Haryana's chief secretary Sanjeev Kaushal announced that 2,900 applications had been accepted by deputy commissioners (DCs) around the state for the installation of telecom towers and the construction of optical fiber cables (OFC).According to Kuaushal, 312 applications that had been pending for 45 days will be turned over in the next two-three working days.When discussing the Communications and Connectivity Infrastructure Policy (CCIP) with DCs, the chief secretary cautioned them to discard pending applications concerning telecom towers and OFC as soon as possible.Kaushal also directed DCs to ensure that no operators application is cancelled.
