Mumbai (Maharashtra) India – Friday (December 9): Vikas Walkar, Shraddha Walkar's father, who appeared in the media for the first time since his daughters brutal murder, said she would have been alive if the Vasai Police had assisted him, but praised the combined probe by Delhi Police and the Vasai Police.In the probe, Vasai Police, and Nalasopara Police played a game of laxity, which is unfortunate.We were assured by Delhi Police that we would be dealt with.My daughter was brutally murdered.He should be hanged.Aftabs family members, relatives, and all others involved in the shooting should be prosecuted, he said.Aftabs cited disadvantages and misuse of some mobile applications (dating applications) and recommended that such restrictions be implemented.Children under the age of 18 should be carefully monitored and they should be provided with support.What happened to me shouldn't happen to anyone else. He said I was never told what was happening with my daughter.Vikas said he had a meeting with Shraddha in 2021 and Aaftab on September 26, but that he did not tell him about her whereabouts.She said she was living in Bengaluru when we met in 2021.When I asked Aaftab about my daughter on September 26, he refused to reply, according to Vikas.He said he was against the relationship between Shraddha and Aaftab and was unaware of the abuse she was exposed to.
