In its placement session 2022-23, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has made a breakthrough.This year, the institute reached a new milestone of receiving the fastest 1,000 offers within day two, with a benchmark of over 1,300 plus placement offers.On the first day of enrollment, IIT Kharagpur was the only IIT to receive the highest package deal of 2.68 Crore, out of 760 total offers in the campus placement 2022-23, which was the highest among all IITs.The students of IIT Kharagpur receive 45 international offers total from Japan(28), Taiwan(9), United States (3), Singapore (2), and others(3).
Companies from analytics, software, finance-banking, supply-chain-logistic, consulting, core-engineering, high-frequency trading, technology profile, product development, and others have made ten high-ticket offers ranging from 1 Crore to 2.65 Crore both domestic and international to the institute.Two of the many high-value domestic offers range in price from 1 Crore to about 1 Crore.The institute has broken its own records in terms of day one admissions and day two among all IITs, according to Professor A Rajakumar, chairman Career Development Centre (CDC), which celebrates the institute's legacy as well as the excellence of the students.In the coming days and in the near future, more companies will be able to attend the campus.
