Dubai (UAE), November 26: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed Imran Khwaja as Deputy Chairman of the organization for a two-year term.In a release released on Friday by the sports worldwide governing body, Imran Khwaja has been reappointed as Deputy Chair for a two-year term.Khwaja is presently an Associate Member Director on the Board of Directors after being re-elected at the ICC Annual Conference in July 2022.Khwaja was elected to the ICC Board of Directors in 2008 and has been Deputy Chair since 2017.
He was previously the Chair of New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and the head of the ICC Mens Cricket World Cup 2015, and he was a director.
