MUMBAI: On Thursday, all 37 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs camping in Guwahati sent a letter to Maharashtra Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal, stating that Eknath Shinde would serve as the group's leader in the legislature.Zirwal had announced earlier today that he had accepted Ajay Chaudhary's appointment as the Shiv Sena legislature party's leader, replacing senior minister Shinde, who had retaliated against the Shiv Sena government.Shinde wrote to the deputy speaker on Thursday evening, signed by 36 Sena MLAs who are currently living with him in Guwahati.Sena MLA Bharat Gogawale has been elected as the head whip of the legislature party, replacing Sunil Prabhu, according to the institute.
