In an accident in Karnataka, only a boy, 3, out of a family of 6, survived.

Accident occurred in Gurmitkal, Gurmitkal, when victims were returning home from offering prayers at dargah . Four people died on the spot, while the other two died on their way to hospital .

KALABURAGI (KALABURAGI): Six members of a family died when their car collided with a truck in Yadgirs Gurmitkal taluk early Friday, including a one-year-old boy.A three-year-old boy was the only survivor.The accident occurred in Gurmitkal, Gurmitkal, when the victims were returning home from offering prayers at a dargah in Telangana.The deceased were Imran, 22, Mohammad Nazar Hussain, 76, his wife Nuurjahan Begum, 70, son Wajid Hussain 32, daughter-in-law Heena, 30, and grandson Umeja, according to police.

They had been to Telangana to perform rituals at a dargah in Jathlapalli in Kodangal taluk in Vikarabad district.Four people died on the spot, while the other two died on their way to Kalaburagi hospital.The truck was carrying plastic pipes from Yadgir to Gurmitkal.Fazil Hussain, the only survivor, survived with minor injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital in Kalaburagi.
