KOLHAPUR (KOLHAPUR): Three more private money lenders have been arrested by police after a murder of nine members of a family in Mhaisal town in Sangli district.The three men were detained by a local jail that placed them in police detention until Monday.With the detention of the three suspects, the total number of individuals apprehended has now increased to 18.The police had recovered two suicide notes from Popat's and Manik Vhanmore's houses, according to the police.

According to police, teams have been sent to a variety of places, including in some areas of Karnataka, to capture the remaining suspects.According to a police officer, there have been six units to arrest the suspects.The bulk of the suspects are from Sangli and Kolhapur districts.Mhaisal is a border town, and some of the perpetrators are based in border villages, according to police department reports.

MLA Suresh Khade visited Mhaisal on Thursday and spoke with the members of the Vhanmore family and their neighbors.Mhaisal was also visited by union social welfare minister Ramdas Athawale on Wednesday evening.
