Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) India (December 7th): Chief Electoral Officer Maneesh Garg announced on Wednesday that elaborate plans have been put in place for the counting of votes for the 68-member assembly on Thursday, with the deployment of around ten thousand duty personnel, including security personnel, to ensure a smooth counting process.On December 1, the first randomization phase was completed, and the first training session was held on December 2 and 3, respectively, according to the CEO, who announced that the second randomization phase was completed on December 6 and that the second training phase would be implemented on Wednesday.According to Garg, the counting halls would have up to 14 counting tables and a minimum of 8 counting tables if needed.There will be a separate table for almost 500 postal ballots.
