In Hyderabad, Armed Forces Flag Day 2022 will be observed.

Armed Forces Flag Day Fund was established in Hyderabad and all the ten Regional Sainik Welfare Offices in the State . Ex-servicemen, their families, and NCC Cadets helped organise the event .

Hyderabad (Telangana) (India) December 8th: On Wednesday, the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund was established in Hyderabad and all the ten Regional Sainik Welfare Offices in the State with the assistance of ex-servicemen, their families, and NCC Cadets to commemorate the sacrifices of armed forces in protecting the country's territorial integrity.She has also given trophies to the Regional Sainik Welfare Offices of Hyderabad and Nalgonda for the highest amount of donations to the Fund, saying that we are living in peace inside our country due to our soldiers' unrelenting efforts to defend our borders in rugged terrain and weather.Governor Bandaru Dattatrya of Haryana also participated in the Armed Forces Flag Day celebrations and generously contributed to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, and appreciated all the volunteers, Secretariat staff, librarians, instructors, Class IV employees, drivers, and other staff of the Telangana government who have given their youth for the country.Col. Ramesh thanked the DDG NCC, all Group and Battalion Commanders, and NCC Cadets for their unashamed support in organising Armed Forces Flag day, saying that contributions to the Armed Forces Flag day fund are exempt from Income Tax under section 80G.
