According to HDFC Securities, gold prices increased by Rs 320 to Rs 53,449 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday, following a strong global trend and depreciation in the rupee, while silver fell by Rs 81,682 to Rs 62,682 per kg in early trade, supporting higher domestic physical demand, said Dilip Parmar, Senior VP-Commodity Research at Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
