Patna: On Friday, the state cabinet approved the government's proposals to increase the diesel subsidy by 15 paise payable to the farmers and create 814 new positions for tackling different types of crime, as well as to support the state disaster response force (SDRF).The cabinet also approved the establishment of sub-registration offices for land registration in 11 locations: Dumraon (Buxar), Amarpur (Banka), Sampatchak (Patna), Bihta (Patna), Fatuha (Patna), Lauria (West Champaran), Manihari (Katihar), Patepur (Vaishali), and Banmankhi (Purnia).S Siddharth, the state's chief secretary, said the state government has already allocated Rs29.95 crore for the payment of the diesel subsidy to farmers in each of the offices.
