New Delhi (India) – Special Commissioner of Police Crime (Delhi) Ravindra Singh Yadav reports that the Crime Branch has arrested two criminals in connection with Olympian Sushil Kumar's murder of young wrestler Sagar Dhankar, two of whom were arrested by the ARSCCrime Branch team, led by Inspector Mangesh Tyagi and Inspector Robin Tyagi under the close supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Arvind Kumar.Inspector Robin Tyagi was alerted to two suspects hiding in rural areas of district Baghpat (UP), namely Joginder alias Kala and Ankit Dabas.Both offenders were proclaimed offenders by the Crime Branch, with a reward of Rs 50,000 per day, according to the official release.Despite this, the team identified and apprehended them, according to the press release by Special Commissioner of Police Crime (Delhi) Ravindra Singh Yadav.

According to an official release from the Crime Branch, the perpetrators were kidnapped from different parts of Delhi and taken to Chhatrasal Stadium for the commission of the offence.An total of eighteen suspects were arrested during the probe, but two suspects, Joginder alias Kala and Ankit Dabas, have been arrested.The accused were secretly hiding and continuously shifting their hideouts.During the Kisan uprisings, both the accused stayed among farmers at Tikri Border.

According to Special Commissioner of Police Crime (Delhi) Ravindra Singh Yadav, the other suspect Joginder moved to Haridwar and stayed there in various temples and Dharamshalas.Sushil Pahalwan's closest friend, Ravindra Singh Yadav, said the accused Ankit Dabas has been known to him for the past six to seven years.On the day of the incident, he went to Chhatrasal Stadium on the recommendation of Ajay.For the commission of the crime, he joined the band under Sushil's direction.

Ravindra Singh Yadav said that accused Joginder Kala went to Chhatrasal Stadium on the day of the incident and joined the group.On the other hand, accused Joginder Kala met with Sushil Pahalwan through a common acquaintance and stayed in contact with him for about 14-15 years.According to him, he went to Chhatrasal Stadium on the day of the shooting at the request of Ajay, a close friend of Sushil Pahalwan, and joined the group under Pahalwan's leadership.
