Birmingham, United Kingdom, August 7 : Mohammed Hussamuddin, an Indian pugilist, won the bronze medal in the Mens 57kg Featherweight division at the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022 on Saturday.The 28-year-old lost to Ghanas Joseph Commey mens featherweight category semi-finals bout for the first time.With this award, he became India's 13th bronze medalist at the Commonwealth Games 2022.Hussamuddin also earned the bronze medal at Gold Coast 2018, his second bronze in a row at the CWG, winning the women's 60 kg Lightweight division on Saturday after losing to England's Gemma Paige in the Commonwealth Games 2022 final.
