Indian businesses will receive mentoring from the Israeli embassy

The Israeli mission in India has partnered with TiE Chandigarh to offer mentorship to Indian startups in the area of sustainability . The aim of this initiative was to recruit promising startups in the area of sustainability and mentor them through lectures and workshops .

Chandigarh, December 9, 2015: The Israeli mission in India has partnered with TiE Chandigarh to offer mentorship to Indian startups in the area of sustainability in the presence of Amb @NaorGilon, according to the Israeli mission in India.This initiative further enhanced the business and economic ties between the two countries.Both nations are commemorating 30 years of full diplomatic relations, and the initiative culminated in a function in Chandigarh on December 8, where five Indian startups presented their business ideas in the presence of Israeli ambassador to India, Naor Gilon.These start-ups were selected after a three-month process.

The aim of this initiative was to recruit promising startups in the area of sustainability and mentor them through lectures and workshops offered by Israeli and Indian entrepreneurs and subject matter experts.Ambassador Naor Gilon said that Israel and India are natural partners in the area of technology and business.Our governments continue to collaborate and help the vibrant startup scene in both countries, and our industries and private sectors are sharing their lessons and working on the ground together.I encourage people from both countries to collaborate, grow together, and merge their unconventional ideas and technological capabilities to achieve new heights during the course, according to Nava Swersky, a technology entrepreneur with over 30 years of international experience as an entrepreneur and manager.
