RAIPUR: According to the All India Chess Federation, Kiran Agrawal of steel city Bhilai has been appointed as the first female coach of Indian chess team for the second time, bringing another exciting chapter to the chess tradition of Chhattisgarh.From November 13 to 23, she will travel to Sri Lanka with the 16-member Indian squad for the Commonwealth Chess Championship.In 2004, Kiran was selected as the coach of India's chess team for the first time on its Lebanon tour, and under her leadership the team won a silver medal.Kiran was also one of the torch bearers in the chess Olympiad, which was held this year in Chennai.
